Acer shall be launching soon in the Indian market three of its products, the Iconia Tab 100 and the Iconia Tab 500 are both tablet devices, and the third is a smartphone, Iconia Smart A300.
Talking about the phone first, the Iconia Smart A300 had been announced in the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year, and looks very up-to-date with its specifications. It has a large, 4.8-inch touch screen, and is supposed to run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and has excellent display screen resolution of 1024×480 pixels. The price shall be announced shortly.
Acer Iconia Smart
Coming to the tablet devices, Acer’s Iconia Tab 100 and the Iconia Tab 500, both of them come with Wi-Fi capabilities, different sensors, and powerful processing speeds. They too are in sync with today’s technology, as both run on the latest Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system that is a favorite with many other tablets too. The Iconia Tab 100 is a 7 inch touch screen device, and the Iconia Tab 500 tablet is a 10 inch one. Both of them shall start selling in a month’s time and its price shall not exceed INR 28,000.
