HTC One Price Specification & Release Date

The Taiwanese handset manufacturer HTC has recently announced its newest handset model, HTC One which has amazing features. HTC One comes with 4.7-inch Full HD capacitive multi touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection, runs on Quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 processor and also features Adreno 320 GPU for gaming applications.

HTC One has 2GB of RAM, comes with 32GB of internal memory and is powered by Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 OS. If we talk about the design of the handset then it has aluminum finish as compared with the ordinary plastic body.HTC One Price Specification & Release Date

HTC One comes with 4 Megapixels front facing and 2.1 Megapixels rear facing camera. HTC stated that, 4 MP camera of the phone is a Ultra pixels camera i.e. the clarity of camera is much more as compared to any other 4MP camera.

HTC One offers GPRS, EDGE, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot as connectivity features. Other remarkable features of HTC One includes HDMI, GPS,NFC, MHL, tethering, Computer Sync, OTA sync and infrared port to share data with other phones with facility.

The HDMI connector for TV-out, Dual mode CDMA/GSM phone and extremely high pixel density screen over 300 ppi are some of the amazing features of the device. The device is powered by Li-Po 2300 mAh non-removable battery.

HTC announced this handset in Feb 2013 during Mobile World Congress event and is expected to be available in the market from April 2013 onwards.

My Verdict:

Although HTC One comes with loaded features but still there are few disadvantages that I would like to share here:

1) The phone comes with 4 MP camera which is disappointing when clicked in good lighting condition.

2) HTC One comes with HTC Sense UI v5.0, which still lacks connectivity feature while switching between connections from notification area.

3) The HTC One battery is a non user replaceable i.e. user will not be able to replace the battery once the original battery die; they need to contact HTC to get it changed.

4) HTC One has poor codec in terms of playing audio and video files i.e. by default it will only able to play the standard music file formats.

Well, apart from the above disadvantages, HTC One is a perfect phone to buy as it has good sound quality, design, performance and comes with great user interface. If you are looking to buy a new handset this season, then just wait for few days until this beast will be available in the market and go for it if you don’t want to buy any Samsung LG, Nokia or Sony handsets.
