If you are fond of custom ROM then you probably know about CyanogenMod. It is one of the most awesome, stable custom ROM available for Android devices. CyanogenMod is always my favorite custom ROM, whenever I purchase a new Android device I root it and install CyanogenMod into it. As, it offers much more customization options, enhanced functionality, consumes very less resources, optimizes processes, offers amazing speed to the application running inside the CM kernel and henceforth increases user handling of the device in a much better way.

As time goes by, we have witnessed newer version Android OS, the latest one in the market is Kitkat a.k.a Android 4.4. CyanogenMod team has developed CyanogenMod 11 custom ROM for 50 devices based on Android Kitkat 4.4 OS and codenamed the version or edition as CyanogenMod 11 a.k.a M6.

CyanogenMod team offers custom ROM in milestone & stable version. Milestone based ROM receives update in every four weeks now decreased to two weeks, it is not a stable ROM but the frequency in which it receives update Milestone can be considered equivalent to those stable ROM. On the other hand, stable or Nightly CM are those ROM which are known as stable ROM that has already gone through its beta, unstable stage and has no bugs in it.

CyanogenMod team has started pushing CyanogenMod 11 for 50 devices, Moto G, Samsung Galaxy S, S2, S3,  S4, Samsung Note 2, Google Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, LG Optmius G, G2, G Pro, HTC One, HTC Mini, Moto Razr, Amazon Kindle are among them.
