Microsoft launches Office Web Apps in India

Microsoft today launched the office Web Apps in India. Office Web Apps will allow users to access parts of the popular software suite for free.

To use Microsoft Office Web Apps, user need to have a windows live account and after sign into the account, user will be able to create and edit documents- much like that we use to do on Microsoft Office application.Microsoft launches office web Apps in India

Google had already included office Web Apps in their Google Docs service, where users will be able to create and edit the document file.

Commenting on the launch, Microsoft Business Division Direct Sanjay Manchanda told, Office Web Apps are a key piece of Microsoft’s overall cloud strategy and are designed to empower people to take their familiar productivity experience on the web.”
