In the Nokia world event, Nokia has finally announced the most awaited Windows Phone 7 devices Nokia Lumia 800 and 710. Both these device runs on Windows 7.5 Mango OS and is powered by 1.4 GHz single core processor and 512 MB RAM.
Nokia Lumia 800:
Nokia Lumia is the first Windows Phone device which was announced today. Â It features 1.4 GHz single core Scorpion CPU chip; 512 MB RAM and runs on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS and has a 3.7-inch CBD (Clear Black Display) AMOLED capacitive display.
It has a 8 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash, comes with a 16 GB of in-built memory along with 25 GB of cloud storage space from Microsoft. It also features Nokia Drives, a voice based turn-by- turn navigation feature like that of Google Map with the device.
Lumia 800 will operate on micro-SIM card like that of Nokia N9, The phone has three buttons to navigate Backward, to run Windows and Search bar and is available in three colors â€“ Blue, Black and Magneta.
It will costs around $585 (INRÂ 29,900) and is already available for pre-order in France, Spain, UK, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and will be launched in India, Russia, Hong Kong Singapore and Taiwan next year.
Nokia Lumia 710:
Nokia Lumia 710 is the second handset, which was announced after Lumia 800 today. The Processor and RAM speed is same as that of Lumia 800. The only difference between the two is Lumia 800 has CBD AMOLED display and 8 MP dual flash camera whereas Lumia 710 has CBD TFT display and 5 MP single flash camera.
It has 3.7-inch WVGA display with CBD technology TFT based, a 5 Megapixel single LED flash auto-focus camera and offers 3G, Wi-Fi 801.2 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 and A-GPS support as connectivity option.
Lumia 710 comes with changeable back covers that provide users to use that color which matches their taste/mood. Â The device will cost around $375 (INR 18,600) and will be available only in 2012.
