With the advancement of Android many old procedure to root a device now seems to be useless and we need to look for some other or say new ways to do it hence to keep our device rooted and to enjoy them fully.
Adding this into fact, Xda developer member, DoomLord has developed a simple method that can root almost any device. The method was originally created for Sony Ericson devices but later on when the tool was tested on some other devices like Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II, Galaxy Tab, and Nexus S and on Motorola’s Milestone, XT860, Defy and Nexus One then it was found to be working smoothly.
Using the tool is simple as eating a pizza; all you need to do is download the tool kit (link provided below), unzip it and follow on screen menu to root the device using a Windows PC.
The developer of easy rooting toolkit has also written a simple script to unroot a device i.e. to get back the device to original manufacturers condition like warranty, repairs etc. Users are advised to perform the unroot procedure only if you know how to do it and if the device is not rooted previously with any tools other than unrooting script..
If you have used unrooting script previously and want to use it again to unroot your device, then go ahead and unroot your device but at your own risk.
Procedure to un-root a device:
- Download the unrooting script v1.0 tool (link provided below).
- Extract the file using WinZip or 7zip tool.
- Now, go to the folder that you have extracted and execute the RUNME-UNROOT.bat.
- Follow the on-screen guide to un-root the device.
