How to Activate GodMode in Windows 10

If you are using Windows OS from a long-time, then GodMode is no alien word for you. This feature was there from Windows Vista OS onwards and it is still available in Windows 10.

GodMode is a inbuilt, but hidden tool that provides additional features to manage Windows 10. It is just an another name of Control Panel but with clean and more customization tool.GodMode-Windows-10

Activate GodMode in Windows 10:

  • Make sure you have administrative privileges to execute the task.
  • Right click where you want to create GodMode button (we will choose desktop) select-> New -> Folder.
  • Rename the folder to, GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} and hit enter.
  • Now, actually you can rename that folder to anything you like. Make sure you are adding the name before “.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}”.
  • All done, now open that folder and you will see many tools those are not visible under Control Panel.Win10 Godmode

It provides a one stop hub to manage up to 200+ different hidden settings those can be used to explore the hidden gem of Operating System further.

There might be a variation in the number of settings available under GodMode, reason for this is because of the Windows 10 version which is currently installed on the computer, like Windows 10 Home Edition or Pro.

In order to use tools available in GodMode Window, user can create shortcut on the desktop and can access that specific tool from the desktop itself.

Apart from GodMode, there are many other hidden features available in Windows 10 like adjustable start menu, spoken reminder, Cortana, Refinder searches, forget-Me-Not files, reading list and many more.
